I’ve wondered the same thing!

My guess is that they usually have a strong emotional tie to their husband and NOT the other woman. Therefore, they have a lot more sympathy for the person they love rather than a stranger. And even if they do know that woman, it’s difficult for some people to make rational decisions when it comes to love and it’s just a lot easier to put the blame on the woman and still keep their man.

Yes, it is ridiculous but if you haven’t noticed, women seem to always be harder on other women. If men sleep around, it’s in their nature, but if women do it then they’re whores, sluts, home wreckers, etc. Definitely a social norm that needs to be broken if you ask me!
